Scrapbooks, guestbooks and photo albums created or collected by the Sayville Historical Society, containing clippings on local events and history, photographs, postcards, certificates, letters, trade bills, theater programs, broadsides and advertising fliers as well as miscellaneous deeds, maps, surveys, lithographs and swatches of cloth. Items of note include several albums of Edwards family photographs; a Hallock family scrapbook of photos, letters, certificates and other material documenting the military careers of Avon C. Hallock, 1918-1919, Wesley Curtis Hallock, 1943-1946, and Bob Edwards and Ted Ruhland, 1965-1969; and a scrapbook of photos, programs, clippings and memorabilia from Barnard College, Columbia University, 1920-1924, kept by Blanche E. Edwards, Class of 1924.
